How to Trim a Mustache

There are many ways to groom a mustache. Decide how you want yours to look before following these instructions.

Things You'll Need:
* Full-length Mirrors
* Electric Razors And New Blade
* Mustache Combs

Steps

1.Wet your mustache slightly.

2.Use a fine-tooth mustache comb to brush the hair down.

3.Clip the hair on your mustache's outer edges with a pair of thin
scissors. Remember to clip conservatively.

4.Snip across the bottom of the mustache.

5.Trim the body of the mustache to achieve the desired evenness and bushiness, and to clip errant hairs.

6.Touch up the top of the mustache with a razor until you have the desired line. If you have an unusual mustache, such as a pencil-thin or handle-bar mustache, use more or less use of the razor as appropriate. Take care not to shave off the top of the mustache accidentally.

7.Comb again with the mustache comb.

Tips & Warnings * Work carefully. Clipping even a small amount of hair can change the appearance of a mustache greatly.
* A beard trimmer is an excellent tool for reducing the bushiness.
* For fancier styles, use mustache wax to shape or groom.

How to Dress for a Nightclub - Men

You spot a cute girl in a club and smile. You walk over. If she likes what she sees, she might not tell you to get lost. Here's how to dress.
Steps
1.Make sure your hair looks clean and groomed. Gel it if necessary.
2.Try a tight shirt that hugs your curves as you groove to the music and check out the scene. Or put on a nice button-down shirt.
3.Keep in mind that billowing silk shirts and white tank tops have no place in the club scene.
4.Wear khakis or darker-toned pants. Avoid tapered pants, white jeans and anything stone-washed or acid-washed.
5.Remember that shoes should be comfortable and a darker color. Leave the old sneakers in your closet where they belong.

Tips & Warnings
Avoid heavy gold chains or tufts of chest hair peeking out from beneath an opened shirt.

4 Easy Ways to Make a White Shirt Sexy

Every summer, we all put this basic into heavy rotation. Here, senior beauty editor models how to make it go in unexpected directions.

1. SCOOPNECK
Layering the T-shirt under a floral bustier gets you a result that’s ultra-flirty without being too bare. To avoid bulk, make sure the tee fits snugly, and stick to something simple on bottom, like black pants.
2. V-NECK
Play up the curve-hugging shape of a slim V-neck tee with a tube skirt. One with a fun print, like this snakeskin, is especially alluring—just don’t go any shorter than right above the knee.
3. OVERSIZE
Give a slouchy, relaxed T-shirt some definition by cinching it precisely at your natural waist with a thin leather belt. Denim pedal pushers add to the sleek, sunny-weekend vibe.
4. OFF-THE-SHOULDER
For a neat cutout effect, wear a tee with a super-wide neckline under a trim tank dress. Pull one side off your shoulder, so there’s a sexy space between the tee’s collar and the dress’ strap.

How to Apply Eye Shadow

How to Apply Eye Shadow

Summary: When it comes to bringing out your facial features, makeup is the most common way to go unless you want to go under the knife. For eye makeup, the eyeshadow is a key factor. Sweep a touch of shadow over your lids to accent eyes. You can define them, add drama and make them stand out in a few quick steps.

Application on Entire Lid

Steps

1.Prime the eyelids by dusting them with a small amount of loose powder.

2.Select a light base shadow. Using a shadow brush, sweep it across your entire lid, from brow to lash line.

3.Use a medium-toned shade to cover your lower lids.

4.Contour the crease of your eyelid with a dark shade, using a smaller eye shadow brush. This color can also work as an eyeliner (see the next section for instructions).

5.Blend shadow by stroking the lid gently with an eye shadow brush. Don't use your finger, you could wipe off the shadow entirely.

6.Use a cosmetic puff and a little pressed powder to tone down heavy shadow. Shake any excess powder off the puff, then press it gently on your lid.

Eye Shadow to Line the Eyes

Steps

1. Choose a medium or dark shadow color to line your eyes.

2. Use a small, flat, angled brush for the application.

3. Stroke the brush over the eye shadow.

4. Start at the inside edge of your upper lid. Angle the brush so that the longest tip follows the shorter end as the brush moves across your lash line. Bring the brush to the outer corner of the eye.

5. Create a more dramatic line by wetting the brush before stroking it through the shadow. Mist a small amount of water onto the brush, or dab it into a few drops of water and proceed with the line. The shadow may feel wet as you draw your line, but it will dry quickly.

How to Find the Perfect Fit in a Bra
Whether you choose a bra to enhance, minimize, support or show off your bust, fit is crucial. It's the key to keeping you comfortable and supporting your breasts properly. Here are a few steps to finding the ideal bra.

Things You'll Need:

* Bras
* Sports Bras
* Measuring Tapes

Steps

1.Use a measuring tape to measure around your bare rib cage, just beneath your naked breasts. This number indicates the band size most appropriate for your figure.

2.Measure the widest part of your bust, sliding the tape around the middle of your back. Hold the tape as level as possible to ensure accuracy.

3.Note the difference between the two measurements. Use the following as a guide, and try on a range of sizes above and below your measurement: If your bust measurement is up to 1 /2 inch larger than your band size, then your cup size is an AA. A measurement of 1 /2 inch to 1 inch more than the band size indicates an A cup, 1 to 2 inches indicates a B cup, 2 to 3 inches indicates a C cup, 3 to 4 inches indicates a D cup, and 4 to 5 inches indicates a DD or E cup.

4.Select a range of bras according to your band and cup size.

5.Try on a bra. Place your hands through the straps and bend over to allow your breasts to fall into the cups. The cups should contain your breasts'unless you're trying a demibra or an enhancing bra'and should center your nipple in the fullest part.

6.Close the bra using the middle hook. Look for a band that fits snugly but doesn't cut into your rib cage. If it's too tight, try adjusting the hook closure before proceeding to a larger size.

7.Adjust the straps so the band fits comfortably under the breasts and around the rib cage. If the bra seems to slip forward, if you find yourself pulling up on the straps, or if it feels as if your breasts are falling out of the bottom of the cups, the band size is too big.

8.Check the fabric or bridge between your breasts. This should lie flat on the breastbone. If it sticks up or stabs your breastbone uncomfortably, try a larger cup size. If it puckers, try a smaller size.

9.Move up a cup size if your breasts bulge from the bra. Move down a size if you notice wrinkles in the cup material.

Tips & Warnings

* Remember that all bras are not made equal. Experiment to find the brand or style that best suits your figure.

* Wash bras by hand, or in the delicate cycle of a washing machine in a mesh bag. Avoid shrinkage and prolong life by hanging bras to air-dry instead of machine-drying them.

How to Avoid Hair Loss

An estimated 95 percent of hair loss is genetic, but other factors, such as nutrition, overall health, hormone deficiencies, overcoloring of hair and emotional stress, can be controlled somewhat.

Things You'll Need:
* Body-building Shampoos
* Deep Conditioner
* Hair Replacement Therapy
* Hairbrush
* Moisturizing Shampoos
* Protein-based Shampoos
* Deep Conditioner

Steps

1.Wash your hair regularly in warm water and use a deep conditioner.

2.Eat a balanced diet. Nutritional deficiencies, eating disorders and excessive amounts of certain vitamins, such as A and E, can cause hair loss.

3.Take care of your health. Chronic illness, high fevers and infections can contribute to hair loss.

4.Stay away from harsh chemicals - permanent hair color and perms are the most damaging - and avoid coloring your hair more than once every six to eight weeks.

5.Avoid hairstyles like ponytails and cornrows, which stretch and pull hair.

6.Keep in mind that it's normal to lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day.

7.Consult your general physician or dermatologist regarding concerns about hair loss.

Tips & Warnings

* Because of hormonal changes in their bodies, nearly 50 percent of women experience hair loss after pregnancy. Normal hair production will eventually resume, though it can take as long as six months.
* Some methods of preventing hair loss are merely old wives' tales. These include massaging your scalp, standing on your head to increase blood flow to hair follicles, and vigorous hair brushing.
* If you experience a sudden hair loss not related to pregnancy, age or other explainable factors, contact your doctor.
* Using Propecia or Minoxidil (Rogaine) produces varied results. Discuss your expectations and concerns with your doctor.

How to Apply Lipstick and Lip Liner

Lipstick adds the final touch to any makeupapplication.Lining the lips creates subtle definition and perfects the shape of the lips.

Steps

1.Consider your lipstick color and finish. You'll do well with color
s that match the natural shade of your lips, opting for darker tones that complement your overall coloring. Matte lipsticks offer a muted finish complementary to workday makeup, while satin and gloss finishes offer appealing evening looks.

2.Apply all other makeup before putting on lipstick and lip liner.

3.Begin by dabbing on a very small amount of lip balm or petroleum jelly to give your lips a little moisture.

4.Draw a thin line along the edge of your lips with a lip liner whose color is one shade darker than your lipstick. Start at the center of the upper lip and work outward. Hug the very outer edges to open up thin lips, and line well within the edges to downplay excessively full lips.

5.Apply lipstick from the tube or by using a firm, small lipstick brush. Coat the lips evenly. Payspecial attention to staying within the lips' edges.

6.Blot to remove any excess color and to even out the texture.

7.Remember to touch lips up after a meal, as lipstick easily transfers onto coffee cups, water bottles and soda cans.

Tips & Warnings

*For longer-lasting lip color, shade both lips with lip liner after defining them. As lipstick fades throughout the day, the liner offers a hint of color before you have a chance to reapply.
*Balance heavy eye makeup with a soft lip color. Wear a rich and boldly colored lipstick to complement soft eye makeup.
*Give the illusion of a thicker top lip by lining its outermost edges and foregoing liner on the bottom lip.
*Chill l
ip liner for easier sharpening.
*Forego lipstick if you have a cold sore. Opt instead for a camphor-based lip balm to aid in healing.

How to Find Sunglasses for your Face Shape

Looking for the perfect sunglasses? The ideal sunglasses will complement your face shape and make you look your best. Follow these steps to find sunglasses that will flatter your face.

Steps
  1. Determine your face shape. Pull your hair back and look in a mirror. Look at the general outline shape of your face, and the angle of your face relative to your chin. If your jaw seems square or rounded, you have a square or round face, respectively. If your face is longer than wide, it’s oval shaped. Compare your face with the pictures of face shapes. Your face shape may change with weight loss or gain.

  2. Determine which styles and frames complement the shape of your face. Your frame shape should be the opposite of your face shape in order to complement and soften your natural shape.Round face – Squarish or rectangular frames balance this shape.Square face – Rounded or oval frames that are wider than tall are ideal.Oval face – If you're lucky enough to have an oval face, you can wear any style of sunglasses.Heart-shaped face – Rimless and semi-rimless frames complement this shape.Oblong face – Square sunglasses, wide frames that are fairly tall look best.Long – Semi-rimless are the best choice for faces that are longer than wide.

  3. Shop online or at stores to find sunglasses that were made to complement your face shape. It’s best to try on the sunglasses in person before buying so you can be sure they fit comfortably and look good.

Tips & Warnings
  • Pick a proportionate size and a color that complements your skin and hair. If you have a small face, don’t wear oversized sunglasses because they’ll make your face look smaller. If you have reddish skin, don’t wear sunglasses with a red frame. Ask friends, strangers, or sales associates for their opinions.
  • Check the label or sticker to make sure you get 100% UVA and UVB protection with the sunglasses.
